This is not a German thing though…Its also kinda “done” in South Africa…

Incidently, the train rider is no more. The Deutsche Bundesbahn instituted a study that showed if he were to go flat, or damage the glass on the train, he could pose s serious danger to other trains that followed as well as the train he was on. Hitting the tracks at 240 plus kmph leaves kind of a big dent
Oh and by no more I mean he has been forced to give up the activity as it is considered tantamount to “intent to cause grievous injury” by German Law.
I suppose you mean the train rider is still alive, but has been banned from riding trains…thats interesting to know…there was also this man who climbed the Sears Tower by hand, and was greeted by the police at the top for illegal violation of property and airspace. The winds at the top, at the 103rd floor, are so gusty, its incredible he managed the feat!
