McCain camp hits a new low…disgusting!

Excerpts from Palin and McCain speeches:

—————————

On the day when the McCain campaign released a new attack ad not-so-subtly titled “Dangerous,” Sarah Palin made a concerted effort to use words like “fearful” and “afraid” to describe Barack Obama, signaling her campaign’s decision to make the election a referendum on Obama’s character, rather than the issues facing the country.

“I am just so fearful that this is not a man who sees America the way that you and I see America—as the greatest source of good in this world,” Palin said at a rally this morning in Clearwater, Fla.

“I’m afraid this is someone who sees America as imperfect enough to work with a former domestic terrorist who had targeted his own country. This, ladies and gentlemen, has nothing to do with the kind of change anyone can believe in—not my kids, not for your kids.”

Palin has devoted a significant portion of every one of her stump speeches in recent days to lamenting that the “filter of the mainstream media” has not given her a chance to do what she really wants to do: talk about the issues. But in filter-free forums across the country, Palin continues to speak in generalities about where she and John McCain want to take the country, calling for tax cuts, winning the wars, and reforming government, while providing very few details on how she would accomplish those goals.

Instead, Palin has increasingly focused her remarks on tearing down Obama.

“Either do the math or just go with your gut,” Palin said at a rally here this morning. “Either way you’re going to come up with the same conclusion — Barack Obama is gonna raise your taxes. So there’s a pattern here of a left-wing agenda that is packaged and prettied up to look like mainstream policies.”

If Palin had done HER math, and if she had some common-sense (which no one in the McCain campaign seems to have), she would have known that Obama would cut taxes for 95% of the American public. Thats something.   Here’s what McCain has started vomiting

—————————

“I don’t need lessons about telling the truth to American people,” McCain will say according to prepared text sent out by his campaign. “And were I ever to need any improvement in that regard, I probably wouldn’t seek advice from a Chicago politician.”

McCain delivered the remarks at a rally in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the hardly-fought battleground state where the latest CNN poll of polls shows the Arizona senator trailing slightly.

“My opponent’s touchiness every time he is questioned about his record should make us only more concerned,” McCain also said. “For a guy who’s already authored two memoirs, he’s not exactly an open book. It’s as if somehow the usual rules don’t apply, and where other candidates have to explain themselves and their records, Senator Obama seems to think he is above all that.”

The new language is part of the McCain campaign’s effort to move away from the country’s economic crisis as the primary narrative on the campaign trail, aides told CNN’s Dana Bash earlier Monday. McCain, the aides say, will try to reframe the economic issue into an overall theme that Obama is still a virtual unknown, and is not the right person to steer the country through its current financial turmoil.

“All people want to know is: What has this man ever actually accomplished in government? What does he plan for America? In short: Who is the real Barack Obama?” McCain said.

The Obama campaign quickly responded to the comments, calling McCain the “one truly angry candidate in this race.

Angry, he truly is. See this previous post on this blog

Debate video: How McCain lies as if no one would know…Shame!

McCain’s lies have reached their lowest ebb. After all the false and absolutely blasphemous attack ads, he now has the nerve to criticize Obama on his position on war !

McCain is nothing but a war-monger, determined to lead America by flexing its muscles around the world. Surprisingly, yesterday in the debate when he was asked what he would cut back given the $700 billion bailout, he said

“A spending freeze on everything except defense and veteran affairs”

What about the millions of people in the country? What about education? What about healthcare? What about research? His soldier-background has made him a soldier, a war monger for life. He thinks that “fighting” is the only solution to all problems. Fight, fight, bomb, bomb. He doesnt realise the importance of education, healthcare and the positive energy in the country in making the nation strong.

And not just the US, this is a policy that has failed and has angered Muslims all around the globe, who have now become one in their jihad against the US. It is precisely this bullying approach that has lowered America’s reputation in the world! Shame…
